2020
COVID-19 takes the world by storm. Aleja has to stay in Bogota, and James has to move back to the United States.
2021
Pandemic persists; Aleja plans a trip to London for the following year; meanwhile, James moves to Bogota.
Following God's direction, James moved to "the side of town he didn't want to", and walked into a random church where Aleja was playing drums with the worship team.
So, July 18th, 2021, was the day they first met! And even though James pronounced Alejandra's name incorrectly, they hung out as friends and saw each other every Sunday. They spent many days playing volleyball, rock climbing, hiking, and going to the gym together!
